Sherese Duncan Bio
For over 14 years, Sherese Duncan has provided business strategy expertise to literally thousands of entrepreneurs and businesses. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri Duncan earned her bachelor’s degree at Kansas State University and her MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
Duncan is President and CEO of Efficio, Incorporated, Founder of For Educators and is a distinguished Professor of Entrepreneurship at Central Piedmont Community College. One of the most sought after speakers and business strategist by organizations and entrepreneurs alike, Duncan has served as a SCORE counselor in Charlotte NC since 2006 and has developed and taught entrepreneurial training for Entrepreneurs, Professionals, and Business Owners around the world through Efficio's School of Business for Entrepreneurs. She has also taught undergraduate and non-credit courses on business strategy, business systems, technology, internet, social media, financial management, human capital, marketing, and many other disciplines of entrepreneurship for Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, the Small Business Administration, the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council, the Small Business Development Technical Center in Georgia, SCORE, and various other non-profit entrepreneurial centers.
She is the author of the premier Getting to the CORE of Business strategic development curriculum, now in its second edition. It is one of the first non-credit curriculum for existing entrepreneurs focused on building a complete Small Business System. Over 500 entrepreneurs and students have engaged in training and education using CORE content and is currently supported and funded by the City of Charlotte North Carolina for qualifying entrepreneurial students in the Charlotte community. In addition, Duncan has written entrepreneurial articles, ebooks, courses and seminars.
Duncan is and has been for several years, involved in a variety of industry-related organizations including supporting and implementing programming for Georgia Women Entrepreneurs, National Association of Women Business Owners, American Business Women’s Association, Atlanta Business League, and the Georgia Small Business Development Center.
Duncan has run, owned and operated Efficio, Inc., a business education company for over 14 years. As the visionary leader of Efficio, Inc., Duncan is spearheading a global initiative to help entrepreneurs build successful business enterprises. In addition, over the last seven years, Duncan’s expertise extends to seven additional viable businesses including dimage, an image consulting firm, Efficio Radio Network, a small business talk Internet Radio Station, The School of Business for Entrepreneurs, an online school for entrepreneurial credentials, Tactical Growth, a strategic marketing firm for small business owners and For Educators, an organization dedicated to serving higher education institutions with entrepreneurial curriculum, marketing support and program development.
